As part of a Costume & Textile Appreciation class I took in semester 4 at NIFT, we were to choose a traditional Indian surface ornamentation technique and create an interesting infographic poster on the same.
The lesser-known craft of Kasuti Embroidery struck my eye with its geometric forms and bright colors.
I later printed the poster out and hand-embroidered the dashed lines to create a larger visual impact.
